Job Description AI Analyzer
Paste a job description and instantly see how much of the role can be addressed by AI and automation — with a scored report, actionable reasoning, and an annotated view highlighting automatable and augmentable responsibilities.
What it solves
Hiring decisions happen on gut feel and job descriptions that haven't been updated in years. Before committing headcount budget, leaders need a clear-eyed view of which responsibilities in a role could be handled — fully or partially — by AI and automation. This tool provides that analysis in minutes, not weeks of consulting engagements.
How it works
Paste a job description and the system runs it through a specialized AI agent powered by the OpenAI Agent SDK:
- Scored Assessment produces three scores (0-100): overall AI/automation applicability, AI-specific opportunities, and automation-specific opportunities.
- Structured Reasoning breaks down the analysis across five dimensions: current state assessment, AI opportunities, automation opportunities, risk factors, and an implementation roadmap.
- Dependency Mapping identifies the practical prerequisites — integrations, infrastructure, governance — required to act on the opportunities.
- Annotated Job Description highlights the original JD with green (fully automatable) and yellow (AI-augmentable) spans, each with a tooltip explaining the specific approach.
Results appear in a two-panel layout: a report on the left and the annotated JD on the right.
Ideal for
- Hiring Managers: Evaluate whether a role needs a human, a tool, or a hybrid approach before opening the req.
- HR and Talent Leaders: Build an evidence base for workforce planning conversations with the C-suite.
- AI Strategy Teams: Quickly triage a backlog of roles to identify the highest-impact automation candidates.
- Finance and Operations Leaders: Challenge headcount requests with data on what can be automated today.
